Mark Redden is an Irish artist based in Barcelona. His practice involves painting, sculpture and drawing in a layered process that explores universal perception, memory and personal experience. With particular attention to surface quality, colour, and composition, he renders symbolic forms that evolve and mutate in an ever changing environment, opening pathways to subconscious thoughts and feelings.

Redden studied fine art at DLIADT, Dublin and at CCAD Cork, where he graduated with an award winning exhibition. He has exhibited and undertaken residencies worldwide, including the Hobart Sculpture Trail, Tasmania, Museu Marítim de Barcelona, the RHA Annual in Dublin, Kunstpunkt in Hamburg, Cill Rialaig in Kerry, Ireland, Oasis in Tokyo, Japan, CEAD in Beijing, China, DNA and Readymade in Massachusetts, and Tappeto Volante in New York, USA. He founded TØN Dublin in 2022
